I am pleased to announce the arrival of Liam. My son was born on April 8, 2009 six weeks before his due date. Although very small, 17 inches 3lbs 7ounces, he’s feeding well and putting on the pounds. The picture depicts him in an incubator with all sorts of sensors on him and an IV tube, but he has been regulating his own temperature now and is currently in a ‘cot’, which is like the box but with no lid and no longer requires IV as he is taking bottles and breast feeding very well. The doctors and nurses are amazed by his speedy weight gain and ease of feeding and feel that he’ll be able to come home within the next 2 weeks. We look forward to having our little guy join the family. It’s a sunny day in Boomcity, may the sun shine on your face today as well.
