RiP: A Remix Manifesto

Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009

RiP: A Remix Manifesto is an open source documentary about copyright and remix culture. Created over a period of six years, the film features the collaborative remix work of hundreds of people who have contributed to a website, helping to create the world’s first open source documentary.

I copied that text from the site to remix into my blog.

Canadian Media Mogul, Brett Gaylor, and a great friend of Boomcity is releasing his amazing new movie this month and I recommend everyone seek it out and see it. It’s going online March 15th everywhere for those who want to download it for free (legally) and you can even PAY to see it at the RIDGE on MARCH 20th. Brett will be at the showing, as will I and my beautiful wife.

RIDGE THEATER – MARCH 20th – 7:00pm – VancouverMore wreaths than Caesar.

If you don’t live in Vancouver check out the NFB link below to see when it’s playing in your city.
