To make 2008 extra exciting we are revamping the entire city after what has been a catastrophic terrorist attack against our citizens and other world wide web inhabitants. As of mid April, traces of the hack have be found in the debris. Apparently Boomcity was being used as a safe house for spam attackers throwing thousands of randomly addressed spam. They also hacked into error pages and were redirecting lost tourists through secret doors that led far away from Boomcity.
The problem has been solved, the terrorists have now been denied access to a dilapidated and abandoned wiki that was being tested for the new Library. The concept for the library lived on, but the wiki itself wasn’t perfect for the job. We’ll keep looking and meanwhile have made sure there are no other run-down buildings left in Boomcity for terrorists to exploit.
Now we rebuild the fair city in a greater way then ever before. A chance to start from scratch and build it up piece by piece, with a more regimented security, and more power for the people. Welcome back to Boomcity. For the records this is now Version 6.0, and it’s organic. Watch it grow.
